Teachers, Horsewomen & Cowboys
Hello, my name is Jojo Peterson and I love teaching children about horses and horseback riding. I fell in love with horses the first time I rode a horse as a youngster. I started lessons when I was 9-years old and have never looked back. I owned my own horse by 16, and have been involved with horses and teaching ever since. I've worked at summer horse camps and public riding outfits throughout my life. I have been a Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) Instructor for several years.

LESSONS & Programs
Choose from our individual hourly and weekly lessons or seasonal promotional programs.
Our students receive a solid foundation in horsemanship on the ground and on their horse's back. We start all of our students in bareback pads which allows riders to learn balance, rhythm, and timing. We incorporate ground work, liberty work and longe line work to help our students learn to communicate with the horses and create a lasting partnership with our equine partners.
Let's Party! We love hosting your year-round events on the weekends! Kids Birthdays, Teens Birthdays, Family Reunions, Mom's Night Out, You name it! Our horse/farm/ craft themed parties are a blast! Please message for current pricing.
Farm Friends – The Class

Farm Friends – The Camp (9am- 1pm)
Join us for life on the farm! We'll work a lot with the horses on the ground: liberty work, grooming, showmanship. We'll care for all the animals on the farm. And do Arts & Crafts galore! We'll Tie-dye, make candles, build, paint, and create!

Rancho Pardis is a magical place for kids to learn to ride, care for and love horses. With exquisite, age appropriate instruction, each child is guided safely through a process to understand how to brush and tend to the horses needs, ride with balance and safety and confidently steer and give instructions to their horse. Jojo herself is a joyous ball of energy always ready with a song or a game and knows how to coax even the most timid child into the ring to meet her horses. My kids want to be at Rancho Pardis everyday!
